Osraty for Physio and Rehab is a professional physiotherapy and rehabilitation center located in Dubai. We provide Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language, as well as Psychological services. Our clinic is spacious at 3651 square feet with sensory rooms, treatment rooms, observation rooms, pediatric and adult rehabilitation rooms, and consultation areas. We have designed Observation Rooms for Training and Family Observation for those who need to participate along with the patient. This also ensures transparency with the family.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Shadow Teacher located in Dubai at Osraty for Physio and Rehab. The Shadow Teacher will work in classrooms alongside a student with special needs to provide behavior support and academic assistance. The objective is to provide inclusion by modifying the environment to accommodate the child’s individualized educational plan.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education or a related field
Experience working with children with special needs is required, preferably in an inclusion setting
Ability to collaborate effectively with regular classroom teachers and support staff is a must.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to changing classroom and student needs
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.
Basic knowledge of the English language is mandatory, bilingual skills are a plus
UAE experience preferred, but not required
