e are looking for a Project Accountant superstar for our Sharjah-based office!

Review Monthly project performance reports with project managers, reflecting the projects’ current financial position and forecast costs at completion. This includes ensuring alignment with project schedules, committed costs, remaining costs to complete and reconciliation to Project module in Navision.
Support monthly presentations with the preparation of MIS reporting along with preparation of Project related Balance sheet notes. Critical Focus on WIP & Accruals as needed.
Maintain project P&L, Balance sheet and coordinate with Finance Manager for any cash flow associated risks on a weekly basis. Close monitoring of collections/ open AR working.
Ensure timely invoicing to customers.
Proactively managing and collecting debts from company debtors.
Establishing invoicing and payment approval processes with clients to ensure timely payments.
Ensure Accounts Receivable and Work in Progress amounts are up to date and follow up on any overdue or outstanding amounts.
Checking and posting of receipts in accounting system.
Proven work experience as a Project Accountant.
Has worked in Finance teams or departments previously across multiple geographies.
Ability to review existing processes and controls and make improvements where required.
Expertise in MS Office Suite Excel with ability to create concise, efficient, and accurate models.
Familiarity of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP), familiarity with Navision a plus.
Up to date with accounting standards and best practices particularly IFRS 15 Revenue from Contracts with Customers.
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Demonstrate strategic thinking skills.
History of developing strong working relationships with colleagues in Finance.
