BlackStone eIT, a leading computer software company, is looking for a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and supporting our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
Responsibilities
Design, configure, and install network equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers
Plan and execute network upgrades and capacity expansion projects
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues
Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including System Administrators and Security Engineers, to ensure seamless network operations
Create and maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures
Research and evaluate new networking technologies and solutions to improve network performance and security
Provide network-related support and assistance to end-users and clients
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network engineering
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and security protocols
Experience with network management and monitoring tools
Hands-on experience with configuring and troubleshooting network equipment
Knowledge of network security best practices and technologies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Relevant certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP, are preferred
