KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
• Set up the FSL IT strategy in alignment with organizational growth and expansion plans, user needs and system functionality
• Development and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability
• Manage IT & computers systems across all FSL offices
• Design, develop, implement and coordinate IT systems, policies and procedures
• Ensure security and integrity of data, network access and backup systems
• Continually evaluate and update the IT architecture in accordance to the needs of the business and users
• Lead and undertake IT audits, asses outcomes and implement plans proactively
• Implement the latest technological advances across infrastructure and software within FSL IT in line with business requirements and enhancement of user experience
• Train team and end users as required
• Stay ahead of all security related issues & requirements and proactively manage and educate users on security breaches
• Vendor management across hardware, software and networking requirement areas
• Provide 121 support to senior executives and serve as the technology advisor to the board and all business heads
• Coach and mentor the IT team and lead by example
• Lead annual budgeting exercises
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in a lead role within a trading, distribution, logistics or service-related environments are a definite advantage
• Engineering graduate in Information Technology / Computer Science
• Other IT infrastructure and security related certifications
• Sound knowledge and proven work experience in MS 365, Azure, MDM & Intune, network servers, domain controller & Active Directory, Failover Cluster, DLP, Firewall, Switches, Router, Printer & Wireless devices, Cisco IP telephone systems and call accounting software and VAPT.
• Applications familiarity with Adrenalin HRMS, Office 365, Orion ERP and cloud-based freight management systems will be highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills in English; verbal & written
• Should have the ability to articulate resolutions with executive management and make presentations to a board of directors
• A people’s person with excellent problem solving abilities
