Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Ensure HR processes, programs and services are streamlined and are rolled out to the workforce in an effective manner that is compliant and services in alignment with the company initiatives and objectives.
Oversee the implementation of Human Resources programs through Human Resources staff. Identify opportunities for improvement and resolve problems.
Support various employee engagement activities carried out in the organization.
Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions.
Utilize functional expertise to ensure consistent and fair resolution of complex employee relations and benefits situations.
Ensure proper and adequate HR personnel to support company deliverables within the areas of Recruitment, HR Operations (including payroll and rewards), Training & Development, and Personnel Administration.
Work with other management heads to continually develop high performing, engaged teams and individuals who are focused on delivering exceptional outcomes for the brand.
Manage the performance appraisal process and provide advisory to business leaders.
Act as key interface between Corporate HR and the stores.
Visit stores and build trusting consultative relationships with associates and store management.
Partner with Regional, District, and Store Management to review, manage and optimize team performance through Performance Management, Succession Planning and Employee Development.
Skills & Requirements:
Bachelors Degree witha minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role with a luxury brand.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and ability to work in a high paced environment.
In depth knowledge of labour laws.
Strong leadership skills and experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
Exemplary written and presentation skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
