The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.
Responsibilities
1. Responsible in preparing management reports.
a. Closing of Books
2. Preparing Financial Report and ensuring all accounting transactions in relation to this completed
a. Balance sheet
b. Any other reports may be required by management.
c. Full Monthly Balance Reconciliation
d. Daily Sales report
e. Manage Payment and ensuring all payments are approved.
f. Budget and Forecast
3. Responsible for company compliance
a. Filing VAT tax returns and ensuring payments are made on time.
b. Filing Sales Reports with DIFC and ensuring Authority fees is paid when due.
c. Any other financial compliance related duties including keeping up to date with new regulations.
d. Coordinating Audit and Audit report filing
e. Corporation tax
f. Customs
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or related field 5 – 7 years of relevant experience
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Detail-oriented and analytical
4. Supplier and Stock Management
a. Managing supplier accounts and ensuring payments are done as per agreements.
b. Monitoring COGS monthly and reporting on variances.
5. Responsible in monitoring AR/AP
Responsible for Financial Control
Ensuring all Financial Control in relation to a F&B business is maintained adequately and inform management with any issues, and Cost Control
Experience
Qualified Accountant ACA or CIMA with 5 + years as Finance Manager within a F&B company
Proactive
Team Player
Moderate to Advance Excel Skills
Restaurant Cloud based POS experience
Accounting Software literate QuickBooks, Zoho and or Xero
