Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based in Ajman. The Barista will prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality. Responsibilities include operating coffee equipment, handling basic food preparation, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and following food safety and hygiene standards. The Barista will greet customers, take orders accurately, process payments, and respond to customer questions about the menu and product offerings. The role also involves restocking supplies, assisting with display arrangements, and collaborating with team members to support smooth daily operations and an excellent in-store experience.
Qualifications
Proficiency in barista skills, including preparing espresso-based drinks and operating coffee equipment.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to engage courteously with a diverse customer base.
Clear and professional communication skills for taking orders and explaining menu items.
Basic food preparation skills and understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, or food service environment is an advantage.
Ability to stand for extended periods, handle peak hours calmly, and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Attention to detail, punctuality, and a cooperative approach to working in a team setting.
Basic math skills for handling cash and POS systems; fluency in English required, additional languages are a plus.
