Job Title: Accountant – Russian Speaker
Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Russian speaker Accountant to join their Finance team located in Dubai.
In this full-time, on-site role, the candidate will play a vital part in managing financial records, assessing financial risks, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations. Additionally, the candidate will be tasked with preparing financial reports, reviewing budgets, and maintaining accurate financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage financial records and ensure their accuracy and integrity.
Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them effectively.
Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Review budgets and monitor financial performance against targets.
Maintain accurate financial statements and reconcile discrepancies.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Experience in a petroleum trading company in a similar position.
Experience in commodities trading company accounting.
CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices in the UAE.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in auditing and tax preparation in the UAE is a plus.
Experience working in the United Arab Emirates is a plus.
Knowledge of UAE Corporate TAX and VAT policies.
