We are seeking a skilled Accountant with a deep understanding of UAE VAT rules and corporate tax regulations to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with tax laws.
Responsibilities:
– Prepare and maintain financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
– Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
– Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor statements, and customer accounts.
– Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
– Stay updated on changes in UAE VAT rules and provide guidance to the team on compliance requirements.
– Assist in the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
– Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and ensure accurate reporting.
– Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
– Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
– Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and principles.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent designation is preferred.
– In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT rules and regulations is essential.
– Familiarity with UAE corporate tax laws and regulations.
– Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
– Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
– Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
