Junior Accountant Required in Dubai

Noorka Logistics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. This position is suitable for an accounting professional who wants to build practical experience in bookkeeping, financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting. The successful candidate will assist senior finance staff with daily accounting activities while ensuring records are accurate, organized, and maintained according to company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Record daily financial transactions accurately in accounting software.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting financial documents.
Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
Verify invoices, expenses, and payment records for accuracy.
Maintain organized digital and physical accounting records.
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and account summaries.
Monitor outstanding receivables and support payment follow-ups.
Assist with VAT and other tax-related documentation.
Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and administration teams regarding financial records.
Support internal and external audits by preparing required documents.
Identify discrepancies in financial records and report them to senior accounting staff.
Maintain confidentiality of company and financial information.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance is preferred.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software.
Knowledge of UAE VAT and basic tax procedures is an advantage.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively as part of a team.
