The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices. The General Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain financial records
Prepare financial statements
Analyze financial data
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
Provide support for audits and tax preparation
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
Strong understanding of financial principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
CPA or CMA certification preferred
