Job Summary: Sanya General Contracting and Maintenance LLC, a leading MEP fit-out company in the UAE, is seeking a diligent and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong financial acumen, be well-versed in accounting principles, and have a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in the UAE. As an Accountant at Sanya, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our organization. Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
VAT Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of VAT returns in accordance with UAE tax regulations.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions.
Expense Management: Review and process expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and budgets.
Payroll Processing: Oversee the payroll process, including salary calculations, deductions, and disbursements.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and provide insights to assist in decision-making and cost optimization.
Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and documents for internal and external audits.
Budgeting: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor budgets, providing regular reports on budget variances.
Compliance: Stay up-to-date with UAE accounting regulations and ensure the company’s financial practices align with legal requirements.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
2-5 years of proven experience as an accountant, with a preference for UAE experience.
Proficiency in Tally accounting software is essential.
Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and experience in VAT filing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
