The Travel Supervisor supervises and ensures that all customer requests and arrangements are delivered within the shortest turnaround time while efficiently managing the delivery of travel services.
Supervise internal and external customer requests from beginning to end, including the arrangement of airline tickets, reservation of accommodations, transportation, visas, meet & assist services, and other concierge services.
Provide customers with quotations in accordance with the client’s travel policy, ensuring that accurate travel-related information is provided and that the most optimal rates possible have been acquired.
Supervise all arrangements with suppliers, including the processing of payments.
Provide customers with all relevant information and documentation pertaining to their travel arrangements and the destination. This includes, but is not limited to, information about the political and economic environment, major events taking place, and any specialty requirements for groups.
Investigate and resolve any customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Ensure that all complaints, opportunities for improvement (internal and external), and feedback from clients are communicated to the members of the Executive Travel team.
Identify and report any non-performance or disciplinary matters that may arise to the Head of Travel.
Ensure that the team operates in full compliance with customer travel policies, as well as the UAS policy and the Executive Travel team’s processes.
Ensure that all internal and external databases, including but not limited to suppliers, employees, and customers, are always updated.
Work closely with all other departments to ensure that an efficient and professional service is delivered.
Attend industry events as a representative of UAS, promoting and marketing the business.
Effectively manage the profitability of the team by identifying opportunities for cost-saving and increasing profit margins.
Identify sales and cross-selling opportunities for the growth of the department.
Skill and Qualifications:
• Must have at least more than 8 years of experience in the corporate travel industry.
• Must have the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with vendors/suppliers.
• Ability to deal sensibly with people from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds.
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team member.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• An advanced understanding of geography.
• Must be proficient in TBO and Amadeus.
