Description:
To strategically direct the progress and performance of the business through sales and marketing. Take ownership and responsibility for financial growth and development and controlled performance. To be accountable for the performance of the cast and ensure a motivated and focused team.
To control costs and budget within the framework stipulated
To maximize profit through driving revenues and controlling costs within the business
To achieve budget through planned initiatives and controlling
To direct the spa and recreation team to achieve success where everyone contributes
Lead & mentor the team, by valuing input, feedback & suggestions
Conduct employee evaluations and appraisals under guidance of HR department
Be responsible for a consistent great experience that exceeds expectations and meets required standards
Ensure new spa experience development to maintain innovation and originality
Plans and administers policies relating to all phases of the Spa & Recreation activity by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors
Evolve with the spa industry, network, update with new trends and ideas. Keep informed of latest Spa innovation
Implement marketing and promotion efforts including corporate. Offer value-added services
Maintain proper state of national licensing & accreditation
Possess product knowledge, acquire knowledge of other spa services including exercise, physical fitness, spa cuisine, nutrition, lifestyle skills
Coordinate trainings in regard to retail Merchandise sales
Implement training programs in regard to customer service
Working knowledge of treatments & how they should be performed
To fill in documents / controls / records for duty
To assist in training of employees within the department, ensuring that the standards and methods of service are maintained
Perform any other duties that management may require
Qualifications & Experience:
1-2 years experience in a similar role at luxury spa/ hotels in UAE
Qualification in hospitality/ leisure/ tourism – degree level
Certified beautician and masseur
Holder of Health and Safety Certificate
