The duties of this position are set out as below.
Service:
Ownership of the process of Inside Service.
Supporting the field Service with all the back-office service work.
Preparing proposal of engineering projects/services (estimated engineering hours, and all
applicable project costs, etc.).
Ensures that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual
requirements.
Maintaining and tracking progress of all Annual Maintenance Contracts
Maintaining the data of Service Issue Tracker on SharePoint
Identifying technical requirements of parts needed for machine, from machine
manuals/drawing/lay-out and manufacturer’s technical information.
Assign or schedule tasks to and coordinates work with all levels in service – Engineers and
Managers; for new machine projects installation, commissioning and troubleshooting services.
Ensuring that all requirements (drawings, lay-outs, foundations, etc.) for machine installation
and commissioning are communicated to Service Engineers and customers.
Handling the full process of machine parts received from customers for diagnosis and repairs.
Responsible for service management to customers, keep communicating and cooperating with
headquarters for service strategy setup and solutions.
Managing Call Escalations – identify and track any issues with an account, according to call
escalation procedure, to reach resolution.
13. Informing the Accounts on invoicing for services after job/project completion
Spareparts:
Preparation of Quotes for machine Spareparts in cloud-based software – Zoho. No commercial negotiations to be handled.
Collaborating with Application/sales and service team for upselling of machine parts.
Review customers Purchase Orders against quotation provided and associated clarifications,
address any anomalies, request customer PO amendments where required.
Process orders into business system, ensuring all relevant information is included and to
communicate order requirements to relevant suppliers and colleagues across the business.
Issuance of Purchase orders and tracking them With KBL /KBW and maintain data on
SharePoint.
Collaborates with the Supply Chain function to ensure that technical requirements for
equipment are communicated and ordering movement of parts.
