Responsibilities
Create innovative, delicious, and visually appealing desserts that match the customer’s needs and requests
Monitor the quality of ingredients used in recipes and maintain the highest standards
Develop new recipes, experiment with ideas, and keep the desserts trendy
Keep a clean and orderly kitchen
Properly handle all ingredients, food products, and adhere to safety guidelines
Ensure the preparation and presentation of the final product is held to the highest standard
Maintain all necessary records and documentation
Monitor and control inventory and quantities of products
Qualifications
Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution
2 years of professional pastry kitchen experience
Strong understanding and knowledge of baking principles, techniques and recipe execution
Excellent knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations
Creative with the ability to come up with new recipes and ideas
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Attention to detail and focus on product quality
