Junior Accountant Required in Dubai 

We are hiring Junior Accountant, who will support the finance department in managing daily accounting operations of the travel company. This includes handling accounts payable/receivable, vendor payments, reconciliation of travel bookings, commission tracking, and assisting in financial reporting. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and understanding of travel-related transactions.

Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts Payable (AP)

Process supplier invoices (airlines, hotels, transport providers, tour operators).

Verify booking confirmations against supplier invoices.

Prepare payment vouchers and process payments.

Maintain vendor ledger and reconciliation.

2. Accounts Receivable (AR)

Issue customer invoices for tour packages, air tickets, visa services, etc.

Track customer payments and follow up on outstanding receivables.

Reconcile B2B agent accounts and corporate accounts.

Maintain credit control records.

3. Travel-Specific Accounting

Reconcile BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) statements.

Record airline commissions and service charges.

Monitor GDS (Amadeus/Sabre/Galileo) related financial transactions.

Track refunds, cancellations, and adjustments.

Verify tour costing vs. actual expenses.

4. Bank & Cash Management

Perform daily bank reconciliations.

Maintain petty cash records.

Monitor foreign currency transactions (if applicable).

Support cash flow monitoring.

5. Financial Reporting Support

Assist in monthly closing activities.

Prepare journal entries and ledger postings.

Support preparation of financial statements.

Maintain accounting records and documentation.
