Job Description:
Design, develop, implement and coordinate IT systems, policies and procedures.
Create rational strategies for upgrading the company’s IT infrastructure whenever necessary.
Design, develop and implement system/network infrastructure for the new offices and sites.
Maintain essential IT infrastructure components, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, virtual machines, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
Develop and execute disaster planning and maintain data backup systems.
Construct and implement contingency plans to ensure the company’s IT systems continues to operate smoothly in the event of a problem.
Ensure network components work together seamlessly to meet business needs, using their full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and alternate solutions.
Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
Identify, communicate and manage current and emerging security threats with relevant stakeholders.
Take responsibility for projects and solutions within the larger business initiatives.
Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems/network administration
Develop new network troubleshooting strategies to help reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs.
Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software.
Track and maintain hardware and software inventory.
Analyse departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions.
Analyse processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvement.
Prepare cost–benefit analyses when upgrades are necessary and monitor vendors to ensure that they’re offering the best-possible service and value for business needs.
Train employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed.
Administer and maintain several IT systems including but not limited to Firewalls, Enterprise Servers, Telephony Systems, Email Servers, Security Systems & Software, Storage/Networking/Biometric Devices and other relevant systems.
Administer and maintain various server and client operating systems including but not limited to Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022, Windows 7/10/11, Linux, Mac OS, etc.
Provide technical assistance to all employees of all companies under ASIA Family whenever necessary.
Maintain and develop excellent professional relationship with vendors, suppliers, channel partners and respective support teams for all the necessary requirements such as installation, configuration, maintenance and repairing the IT systems.
Coordinate and follow-up with third party organizations to resolve the issues on time.
Work closely with other department Managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure.
Demonstrate commitment to and promotion of a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement within the IT team.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or relevant.
Relevant certification in the I.T domain will be an added advantage.
At least 6-8 years’ experience.
