PURPOSE
To plan, coordinate and direct employee’s development program, manage recruitment, job placement, compensation program of the organization to attract, retain and motivate employees, administer and implement policies relating to all phases of human resources activity performing the following duties.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruit, interview, assess and select employees to fill vacant positions.
Advertise job openings on the company’s career page, social media such as LinkedIn.
Formulate and maintain employees job profiles.
Prepare personnel forecast to project employment needs.
Maintain date on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, hire, transfer, promotion and termination.
Consult with management to prepare staffing budgets, projection and employment policies, procedures and practices.
Prepare employee separation notice and related documentation and conduct exit interview to determine reason behind separation.
Administer performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within organization.
Administer benefits program such as life, medical insurance, vacation, sick, maternity leave and other employee assistance.
Conduct need analysis and confers with Line Managers and Management to determine training needs.
Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relation issues.
Regularly assess the organization’s culture through surveys, feedback sessions, and engagement metrics. Use the insights gained to identify areas for improvement and take action accordingly.
Create channels and platforms that encourage employees to share their ideas, concerns, and feedback. Actively listen to employees’ perspectives and address their issues promptly. Promote transparency and ensure communication flows freely at all levels.
Act swiftly to address conflicts, issues, or behaviors that are contrary to the positive culture. Provide appropriate channels for employees to report concerns and ensure that investigations are handled professionally and confidentially.
Encourage autonomy and decision-making at appropriate levels. Empower employees to take ownership of their work and contribute ideas to improve processes and outcomes.
Create channels and platforms that encourage open and transparent communication. Regularly seek feedback from employees and act upon it to address concerns and improve processes.
JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field.
Proven experience in an HR role or similar administrative position.
Familiarity organizational and time management abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Has experience in various HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training provides a comprehensive understanding of HR operations.
Experienced in managing HR teams or leading HR initiatives.
Experienced in managing organizational change, sand has the ability to navigate complex HR challenges.
Experience working in a similar role for a fit-out or design firm is beneficial, but not essential.
The ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, listen actively, and convey information clearly.
Committed to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive employee information with integrity.
Understands and relates to employees’ needs, concerns, and emotions, and is able to respond empathetically.
Has the ability to analyze complex situations, identify solutions, and make sound decisions.
