The HR Intern will provide valuable support to the HR department by assisting in various human resources functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in different aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training and development, employee engagement initiatives and overall HR administration. The HR Intern will work closely with experienced HR professionals, contributing to the overall success of the HR department and the organization as a whole. The aim of the internship is to provide a solid foundation for understanding HR processes and best practices within a dynamic organizational setting.
Responsibilities:
Assist with job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
Conduct initial phone screenings and reference checks..
Coordinate candidates for interviews and new hire onboarding.
Help prepare onboarding materials and welcome new employees..
Coordinate orientation sessions and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Assist with data entry and data management, create reports and graphics, review accuracy and completeness of entries.
Help maintain positive employee relations, assist in organizing training sessions, workshops, and contribute to employee engagement initiatives like wellness and other HR events.
Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Conduct research and contribute to the development of HR programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
Interest in new technologies and passion in working with people.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Basic knowledge or experience in Junior HR role is a plus.
