Charterhouse is currently working with an international Law Firm who is looking to hire a HR Assistant to join their Team in Dubai. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who has experience working in a Law Firm or Professional Services, looking to grow their Career within Human Resources.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment including the onboarding process of new joiners. You will arrange their Visa applications as well as prepare employment contracts and welcome packs.
Within this varied role, you will work closely with the HR Manager to prepare job descriptions and annual performance appraisals, assist with employee rewards and salary benchmarking whilst maintaining and updating all Employee Records and HR Systems. In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating exit interviews of all leavers.
Our client is seeking someone who is ambitious and eager to grow, as this role will offer you the opportunity to evolve in HR. Working closely with the HR Manager, this position will see you take on more of their responsibilities over time.
To be considered for this role, the candidate you must already have experience working in the UAE with excellent knowledge of the current labor law, with a career history working within a Law Firm or Professional Services. It is desirable by our client that the applicant already has some exposure in HR with a Qualification in this field.
The ideal candidate will be determined and a strong decision maker, have excellent team working skills with the ability to work well independently. Excellent time management and organisational skills are crucial for this role. It is essential that you are proficient in Microsoft with excellent communication skills in English. both written and verbal.
