Job Description
Present a positive first impression of the establishment’s friendliness, excellent service and high standards.
Greet guests upon arrival, inform guests of their wait time, monitor a waiting list, enter names into the computer system, and show guests to their table and bid them farewell as they leave.
Inform guest about current promotion and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff.
Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.
Issue dining charges by verifying orders; calculating taxes; totaling bill for to-go orders and to receive payments by validating credit charges; approving checks; accepting currency.
Handling guest reservation details from the reservation system, table allocation, dietary requirements, billing.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Micros.
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
At least 1 year experience working on a similar role.
Hospitality background is preferred.
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
