Within the role of Graphic Design Specialist, you will be responsible for the day to day graphic design requests as well as project work. You will coordinate workflow and processes to ensure timely and quality delivery of requests and projects, contributing to the overall success of the department and CUD.
The Graphic Designer’s main duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Create spectacular and fantabulous designs for both digital and traditional platforms.
Contribute to creative ideas.
Able to come up with creative work from provided templates, as well as from scratch.
Conceptualize strong message driven campaigns.
Design presentations for business development and internal pitches.
Online advertising – web banner design for desktop.
Social Media creatives for advertising and posts.
The ability to adapt artwork/design work for different channels & specifications including website, social media, and google ad network.
Experience and Qualifications:
8-10 years’ experience in a design lead role.
Can absolutely slay with Adobe Creative Cloud – Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign.
After Effects is a plus.
Intermediate HTML 5, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets.
Knowledge on the client side scripting frameworks for JS and CSS.
Proactive and eager to learn, pushing the boundaries of current technologies and create progressive designs.
Solid design sense with strong emphasis on quality.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Has a good understanding of Above the Line, Below the Line and Digital work.
Works well within a team.
Creative and artistic, with attention to detail and an outstanding design flair.
Overall IT skills with a customer service focus.
English and Arabic verbal and writing skills.
Technical skills- Graphic Design Skills, Layout Skills, Creative Services, Customer Focus, Creativity, Flexibility, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Desktop Publishing Tools, and Acute Vision.
