Reload Logistics is a young and dynamic company that has experienced fast growth and recognized as a lead player amongst Freight Forwarders in Southern Africa.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated accountant, to support all aspects of financial control & reporting at the Group Business Division level.
This will include the review of financial statements, maintaining internal group controls, as well as other special projects and ad hoc financial analysis.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review financial statements for individual entities within the group and ensure timely and accurate consolidated financial reporting.
Manage the consolidation process, eliminating intercompany transactions and ensuring the accuracy of group-wide financial data.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing insights to senior management.
Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies across all group entities.
Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit and maintain audit readiness through proper documentation.
Monitor and manage the group’s cash flow, optimizing working capital and treasury activities.
Establish and maintain internal financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Role requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or CIMA certification may be preferred).
Proficiency in financial reporting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
In-depth understanding of accounting principles (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and relevant financial regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex financial data analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to align financial strategies with the organization’s overall goals.
