Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Cost Accountant located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing our company’s expenses and budgets, preparing periodic and ad-hoc financial reports, and ensuring that our company remains compliant with relevant accounting regulations and standards. Additional responsibilities may include conducting cost analyses, identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations regarding financial performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cost Accountant or in a related role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis software
Experience with cost accounting and budgeting
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience with SAP or other accounting software is a plus
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is a plus
