What are my responsibilities?
General Administration
Handle general HR administrative tasks, maintaining HR databases and employee records and generating HR reports and analytics.
Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Maintain employee records in accordance with legal requirements and ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
Support the HR Manager and other departments with administrative and general operational tasks.
Handle employee inquiries and concerns regarding HR policies and procedures. Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related issues, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, organize team meetings and track progress.
Medical Insurance
Prepare the documents for Employee Medical Insurance, including new additions and deletion of employee and their dependents.
Ensure documents and data are updated for internal use, DHA-related matters, and timely update of the track log, bills, etc.
Leave Management
Assist the HR department with attendance and leave management, track employee leave and generate monthly payroll reports.
Visa Support
Support and manage the processing of visa renewals for employees in labour/Immigration in coordination with employees and team assistants of the departments.
Learning and Development
Coordinate training needs/training programs and workshops to enhance employee skills and competencies.
Organize employee orientation, create, review and update training materials, ensure performance feedback, and prepare training KPIs every quarter or as required.
End of Service Support
Manage exit processes, prepare the end-of-service documentation as per UAE labour law, necessary approvals, and paperwork.
Audits and Quality Controls
Ensure all HR documents are aligned with the internal QMS Manual.
What do I need to qualify for the role?
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist/Administrative role in UAE in a multination environment.
Proven experience handling medical insurance, leave management, employee end of services and providing support to L&D functions and visa processing.
Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail.
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems.
Knowledge of UAE Labor laws and regulations related to employment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
Aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
Advanced knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems when necessary.
