Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for internal auditing and managing accounts receivables. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. Responsibilities:
Internal Auditing:
Conduct regular internal audits to assess financial processes and compliance with regulations.
Identify areas for improvement and recommend changes in operations and financial activities.
Ensure all transactions are recorded and documented accurately.
Accounts Receivables:
Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up with clients for timely payments.
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or irregularities in financial entries.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
Generate aging reports and analyze data to support decision-making processes.
Collaborate with senior accountants to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Compliance and Documentation:
Stay updated on accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Assist in external audits by providing necessary information and support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
ACCA, CMA, CDA
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in internal auditing and accounts receivables is a plus.
