We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager with UAE-specific experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management to lead our dynamic team and oversee the successful operation of our restaurant. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for the hospitality industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving outstanding customer satisfaction and financial performance.
Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:
Efficiently manage all aspects of the restaurant’s daily operations, including but not limited to, food and beverage service, customer service, staff management, inventory control, and facility maintenance.
Implement and maintain high-quality standards for food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure an exceptional dining experience for guests.
Monitor and analyze restaurant performance metrics, taking proactive steps to address any areas of concern and identify opportunities for improvement.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, and motivate a skilled and professional team to deliver excellent service and uphold the restaurant’s reputation.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and a strong work ethic among the staff.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff, as well as identify and support opportunities for their professional growth.
Customer Relations:
Demonstrate a customer-centric approach, ensuring guests’ needs are met and exceeded while resolving any issues or complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere to encourage repeat business and positive word-of-mouth recommendations.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage budgets, ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently within financial parameters and achieves set revenue and profitability targets.
Monitor expenses, control costs, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize wastage.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for both staff and customers.
Collaborate with relevant authorities to maintain compliance with all applicable local regulations.
Menu Development and Innovation:
Collaborate with the culinary team to design and update menus, keeping in mind current food trends, customer preferences, and seasonal availability.
Introduce creative initiatives to enhance the dining experience and drive customer engagement.
Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is required.
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in the UAE, with a successful track record in managing and operating a high-quality restaurant.
Strong understanding of UAE’s culinary preferences, cultural norms, and dining trends.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team effectively.
Outstanding customer service orientation and a dedication to delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Proficient in financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus).
Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
