Our team is seeking a
professional HR Generalist with experience in the UAE and an excellent knowledge of the local labour market and employment legislation.
The core of the role is to assist DARPO’s employees on their journey with us, offering an effective, people-related support function and assume responsibility for all HR matters from A-Z.
You will be the go-to person for both the management team and our employees, across all questions, concerns and challenges related to HR, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, HR Operations, Performance and Benefits.
The role is also the key point of contact for new and existing staff in relation to all employment law matters. The right person must be comfortable continuously striving to exceed internal and external customer expectations, while embracing the DARPO Core Values.
Your Main Tasks
Increasing awareness and attractiveness of the company’s HR brand
Developing practices and standards to ensure quick and efficient recruitment
Recruitment of front and back-office staff and support line managers on hiring issues
Employee lifecycle management
Ensuring smooth on- and off-boarding
Tracking changes in employment legislation and ensuring compliance with company processes
Implement employee training and motivational programmers
Implement employee appraisal programmers and participate in regular appraisal activities
Your Skills
To be successful at this position, we think you should to have:
An associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, or related discipline
Experience working as HR Generalist in the UAE with in-depth knowledge of HR practices
Excellent knowledge of the local labour market, good connections within the HR community
Outside-the-box thinking on talent acquisition
Outstanding communication skills and passion for HR
Excellent English skills – fluency in written and spoken English is a must, Arabic language is an advantage.
