**Responsibilities:**
1. Greet guests as soon as they walk through the door and provide them with a warm, friendly welcome.
2. Maintain a strategic seating or reservation plan to maximize efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction.
3. Handle phone calls and customer queries about reservations and waiting times, providing excellent customer service in all interactions.
4. Manage take-out orders and ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
5. Coordinate with the kitchen and the serving staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
6. Maintain a clean reception area and organized work station.
7. Assist with cleaning and setting tables, restocking supplies, and supporting the serving staff as necessary.
8. Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate to management as needed.
**Qualifications:**
1. Previous experience as a hostess or in a related customer service role is a plus.
2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
3. Strong customer service orientation and patience in dealing with customers.
4. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
5. Attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
6. Availability to work in shifts, during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
7. Physical stamina to stand for long periods.
