Job opportunity for Specialist Neurologist with DHA/MOH to join Zulekha Hospitals, Sharjah!

Position Summary:

Diagnoses and treats organic diseases and disorders of nervous system.

Prerequisites:
Education : MD/DM/American Board/Arab Board/CCT

Experience : 5+ YEARS WORKING IN A REPUTED HOSPITAL

Job Responsibilities:

Diagnoses and treats organic diseases and disorders of nervous system
Orders and studies results of chemical, microscopic, biological, and bacteriological analyses of patient’s blood and cerebro-spinal fluid to determine nature and extent of disease or disorder.
Identifies presence of pathological blood conditions or parasites and prescribes and administers medications and drugs.
Orders and studies results of electroencephalograms or imaging studies to detect abnormalities in brain wave patterns, or indications of abnormalities in brain structure.
Studies & Identifies abnormalities in nerve conduction studies & Electrography.
Performs Muscle & Nerve biopsies.
Counseling patients and their family as regards to attitude/psychology, medication/ treatment/ precautions to be taken/ risk factors, diet and nutrition/ exercises etc
Motivating staff to perform to their optimum efficiency. Provide coaching and mentoring to develop/enhance their skills

Performance evaluation of staff of the department who report to him/her
Updating knowledge on a continuous basis through various sources such as reading medical books, reference manuals, journals internet, conventions, specialty courses etc
Getting oriented towards latest techniques and medical procedures in the specialty
Contributing towards the services of the Group medically, professionally.
Publishing news break through’s and inventions in treatment or medical procedures
Enhancing the brand image of Zulekha Healthcare Group
Promoting the hospital’s services on social occasions and refer the hospital to new patients
Contributing and discussing case studies in internal doctors meeting or external gathering
Attending conferences, seminars, conventions to gain and contribute knowledge and expertise
Display professional conduct and responsibility
Maintain discipline and set example through self.
Any other functions as specified in the credentialing and privileges
