Accountant Required in Dubai

Roles and Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Reporting

· Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with IFRS.

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

· Monitor and reconcile general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank

accounts.

· Track prepaid expenses, accruals, provisions, and ensure proper cut-off at month-end/year-end.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

· Process supplier invoices, verify supporting documents, and ensure timely payments.

· Monitor customer collections and aging reports; follow up on overdue receivables.

· Maintain accurate vendor and customer reconciliations.

· Track LC (Letters of Credit), bank guarantees, and other trade finance instruments.

Internal Control & Process Improvement

· Implement and maintain strong internal controls for approvals, documentation, and reporting.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and recommend improvements to systems and

processes.

· Assist in ERP/accounting software implementation, upgrades, and troubleshooting
