We are looking for a full time Graphic Designer to bring the Al Jazira Club brand to life through innovative and engaging visual content. The role involves creating compelling work across digital, print, retail, and environmental platforms, ensuring the Club remains culturally relevant, trend-forward, and visually bold in a competitive sports and entertainment market.
Key Responsibilities
Creative & Branding Design
Design impactful visuals for campaigns, sponsorship proposals, matchday collateral, social media, and retail materials.
Maintain and evolve the Club’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
Support environmental branding such as signage, banners, and activations.
Trend-Driven & Culturally Relevant Design
Stay ahead of global and regional trends in design, sports, fashion, and digital media.
Quickly adapt to emerging creative styles, formats, and digital tools.
Translate trends into engaging visuals for fan engagement, sponsor integration, and merchandise.
Event & Matchday Creative
Produce timely assets for matchdays, including lineup posts, score updates, and fan prompts.
Contribute branded content and visuals for stadium screens and VIP areas.
Sponsorship, Retail & Product Support
Develop visual mock-ups and templates for partner proposals and retail campaigns.
Collaborate with partnerships and merchandise teams on product drops, packaging, and in-store visuals.
Digital Collaboration
Work closely with the digital and content teams to create platform-specific visuals and short-form animations.
Manage visual assets for the club’s website and intranet.
Design templates and visuals for internal and external announcements, maintaining brand consistency.
Production & Delivery
Ensure all designs are optimized for print and digital production.
Oversee quality control for deliverables in coordination with vendors and printers.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of design experience; experience in sports, fashion, or entertainment industries preferred.
Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility, originality, and awareness of design trends.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); motion graphics (After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a major plus.
Ability to design effectively for both English and Arabic audiences.
Strong awareness of pop culture, social media formats, youth trends, and global aesthetics.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt quickly.
