Position: Assistant Teacher
Location: Dubai, UAE
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
Assist the lead teacher in creating and implementing lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
Support students with their learning activities, providing individual attention as needed.
Help maintain a positive and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Monitor students’ progress and report any concerns to the lead teacher.
Assist with classroom management, including addressing behavioral issues following school policies.
Prepare and organize instructional materials and resources.
Supervise students during class, recess, and other school activities.
Foster a warm and inclusive atmosphere that promotes respect and collaboration among students.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students’ progress and well-being.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in education or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school or daycare setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children.
Ability to work collaboratively with lead teachers, staff, and parents.
Basic knowledge of child development and educational practices.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the classroom and students.
CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
