Responsibilities
Procure, install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, as well as retail POS systems for all stores.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to POS systems, computers, tablets, printers, scanners, and other retail technology.
Provide first-level support to retail store users and other partners on the retail IT framework, including Wi-Fi and LAN networks.
Manage warranty and asset tracking for hardware and software assets.
Administer user accounts and access permissions for various systems and applications, ensuring proper user management and security.
Procure and manage licenses for Microsoft and other software applications, such as Microsoft Emails, OneDrive, Power BI Pro, Business Apps, Teams, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Google Suite, etc. Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and optimize license usage to maximize value for the organization.
Procure, install, and report on attendance machines.
Implement security measures to protect sensitive customer and business data. Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and company policies.
Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations to provide reference materials for users and IT staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in IT support or a related field.
Proven experience in providing IT support, preferably in a retail or customer-facing environment.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, specifically printers/scanners
Familiarity with POS systems, retail software applications, and common hardware components.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with retail staff and customers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving. Knowledge of data security and privacy practices
Excellent knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Azure
