We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our Dubai team. This role requires a meticulous individual who can manage our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and international financial regulations and standards.
Manage and reconcile the company’s financial transactions.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance workflow efficiency.
Perform internal audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits.
Utilize SAP ERP software to manage and streamline accounting processes.
Prepare financial reports and budgets, and perform variance analysis.
Support the management in financial planning and decision-making processes.
Liaise with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements:
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA certification.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
Proficiency in SAP ERP software is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and other international accounting standards.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
